When I was younger, my father taught me to support Manchester United. I guess it’s a normal thing that the son supports the same club as the father. Not a bad choice, it could had been Liverpool or something. David Beckham was only the prince at that time but Eric Cantona was the king of Manchester, and the king could kick, in many ways.
