The original was drawn with graphite and it was colored digitaly. The print is printed on 200gr quality paper. Each work contains its own certificate of authenticity.
Kozy and I began working together as artists and illustrators while still in college. One day in 2001 kozy showed me a long drawing she had done of our apartment for a school project. I liked the drawing a lot, so i scanned it into the computer and began coloring the drawing in Photoshop. The result was our first panoramic. We were happy with the results and decided to make more.
Seven years later we are still working togethewher. The panoramics we make have progressed into a continuing series of images, and became central, to our minds anyway, in our body of work.
In "The Garden of Watery Delights" the themes revolve mostly around nature and our concern about the way humanity is entirely careless about the environment. Some of the characters are just subconscious concoctions taken from our sketchbooks and as such are often silly visual puns or down right vulgar, while others reflect what is happening at the time in our own lives, and still others are commentary about serious current issues in the world today.
The result, we hope, is always an amusing mix mash that will allow people to discover little details each time they see the work.
